Blayne Backer
Public Safety Instructor
Blayne Backer currently a firefighter/EMT with West Metro Fire Rescue. Blayne has been with the department since 2020. Blayne is a native to Colorado specifically the metro area. Obtained his degree in Human Development in 2019 from Metropolitan State University of Denver. Blayne's experience, knowledge, and certifications include Technical Rescue, Wildland Firefighting, Fire Academy Instructor, and Emergency Medicine. As a previous student of Classique LLC, his goal is to help and assist others to accomplish their dreams of serving their communities.
Bryan M. Parker
Public Safety Instructor
As a former Classique LLC student, Bryan M. Parker is now the Senior Firefighter on Truck Company 02 at Station 02 in Green Valley Ranch. During his 10 years of service, Bryan has held various key leadership positions involving increasing safety, accountability, and authority levels. In 2013, he was assigned as 858 Union Steward for Denver Fire Station 10 in Park Hill and was responsible for being the liaison to give information from the 858 Union to the Engine 10 Company.
His next assignment was in part of the Denver Fire Department Honor Guard. It is all volunteer services that include performing the Denver Fire and United States flag for graduation ceremonies, Funerals, parades, Fair wells, and other functions required for the department.
In 2013, Bryan got assigned to Station 10 as firefighter with an engine company. Being a junior fire fighter and learning the task of hose management and the duties on an engine company was made Bryan want to learn more about the fire service and move over to Truck Company. From 2019 to Present, Bryan was elected as the Elective Commissioner for the Denver Fire Department Local 858 Union. His responsibility was overseeing the voting process for over 1000 members during the Covid19 pandemic which required the process to done over a computer virtually.
Since 2006 Bryan has served as a United States Navy Fleet Marine Force Corpsman, attached to the United States Marine Corps. Assigned to 3 combat deployments with the infantry battalion to Kuwait, Iraq and Afghanistan. While overseas providing medical support and winning the hearts and minds of the local civilians, he was given many awards which included the Navy and Marine Corps Accommodation Medal
Bryan's earned a Bachelor's degree in Communications at North Carolina State University. He also earned a Master's degree in Communications at Ohio University. He also a graduate of Los Angeles Valley College with an Associates Science degree in Fire Science and is a member of the Denver Firefighters Incorporated for Racial Equality, Colorado Professional Black Fire Fighters and Delta Psi Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity.
Kathleen Hancock
Public Safety Instructor
Kathleen Hancock brings over two decades of dedicated service in the fire service to her role as a Lieutenant at Aurora Fire Rescue, situated in Colorado's vibrant and diverse city. With a combined 22 years of experience between Aurora Fire Rescue and Tucson Fire Department, Kathleen has left an indelible mark on the firefighting community.

A trailblazer in her field, Kathleen holds the distinction of being the first African American female firefighter and Lieutenant at Aurora Fire Rescue, breaking barriers and paving the way for future generations. Throughout her tenure, she has served in various capacities, including as a Fire Academy Instructor, leveraging her expertise to mentor and train the next generation of firefighters.

Recognizing the importance of support within the firefighting community, Kathleen dedicates her time to volunteer as a member of the Peer Support Team, providing crucial assistance to her colleagues during challenging times. Additionally, she co-developed "Camp Spark," a transformative program designed for girls aged 12-18. Through immersive fire-training experiences, Camp Spark empowers participants to cultivate leadership skills, build confidence, and conquer physical challenges.

Kathleen's commitment to excellence extends beyond her professional achievements. A graduate of Iowa State University with a B.S. in Physical Education, specializing in Athletic Training, and a minor in Health Studies, Kathleen's dedication to her craft is evident. She has also showcased her physical prowess by completing the grueling task of climbing 69 flights of stairs in Seattle, Washington, four times in full firefighter gear on air. Kathleen is also a proud previous student of Classique LLC.

Her accolades include induction into the Pueblo Athletic Hall of Fame in 2015 and graduation from the prestigious Carl Holms Executive Development Program from 2014 to 2019. Kathleen's unwavering kindness and compassion have not gone unnoticed, as she was honored with the Random Act of Kindness Award on June 24, 2017.

Driven by a passion for empowering the younger generation, Kathleen firmly believes in the boundless potential of today's youth. Through her tireless dedication to mentoring and supporting others, she continues to inspire those around her to reach for the stars and achieve their dreams.
Charles Hafner
Public Safety Instructor
Charles Hafner brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to service to his role as a Public Safety Instructor. Currently serving as a firefighter/EMT with West Metro Fire Rescue, Charles's journey began in Fairfax County, VA, where his passion for serving others was ignited.
​
Starting as a volunteer firefighter with the Leesburg Volunteer Fire Company in Loudoun County, Charles's dedication to service only grew stronger over time. He pursued higher education, earning his Bachelor's degree in International Business and Marketing from Radford University before embarking on a distinguished military career with the United States Marine Corps.
​
As an Infantry Marine, Charles held key leadership roles, including Team Leader, Assistant Patrol Leader, and Squad Leader, demonstrating his exceptional leadership and dedication to his unit. Throughout his military service, Charles underwent rigorous training and was selected for prestigious programs such as Advanced Infantry, Scout Swimmer, and Reconnaissance Schools, showcasing his commitment to excellence and continuous self-improvement.
​
Upon honorable discharge in 2021, Charles relocated to Colorado with his wife Lindsay, where he pursued his passion for firefighting. Obtaining his NREMT certification, he enrolled with Classique LLC as a student and quickly distinguished himself, receiving offers from multiple fire departments in the Denver metro area within his first year.
​
Beyond his professional achievements, Charles finds immense joy and fulfillment in his personal life. He and Lindsay are proud parents to two golden retrievers, Duke and Kona, and recently welcomed their first child, Austin James Hafner, in December of 2023.
​
Charles is deeply grateful for the opportunities he's been afforded and is dedicated to paying it forward by helping more Classique students realize their dreams of becoming firefighters. His journey is a testament to the power of dedication, perseverance, and a relentless commitment to service.
Randy Pratt
Public Safety Instructor
Randy Pratt is a retired firefighter with 24 years of dedicated service, including 13 years as a company officer. Over the course of his career, he played a pivotal role in sourcing, maintaining, and instructing the proper use and care of personal protective equipment (PPE) for 22 years. Additionally, he taught numerous courses on firearms safety and weapons of mass destruction (WMD) awareness.
​
As a company officer, Randy was responsible for guiding new firefighters through various levels of post-academy online training, incorporating both hands-on and academic instruction. From 2000 to 2018, he served as a lead instructor, specializing in close-quarters combat shooting for U.S. Army Special Forces and SWAT teams nationwide.
​
As a graduate of Classique Promotional Training, Randy has firsthand experience with the program’s effectiveness and success. He is proud to be part of the Classique team, bringing his wealth of experience and leadership to the next generation of professionals.
Tyler Cady
Public Safety Instructor
Tyler Cady began his career in emergency services by enlisting in the United States Air Force after high school, serving for six years as a firefighter at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs. He was later promoted to engineer at the Academy’s busiest station, responding to a diverse range of emergency calls, including structure fires, medical incidents, hazardous materials (HAZMAT) situations, high-angle and trail search and rescue operations, motor vehicle accidents (MVAs), wildland fires, and aircraft rescue firefighting (ARFF).
​
In 2019, after Hurricane Michael devastated Florida, Tyler transferred to Tyndall Air Force Base, where he worked alongside the emergency management team to support disaster recovery and rebuilding efforts. This experience deepened his expertise in aircraft rescue firefighting, particularly in handling emergencies involving fighter jets carrying live ammunition.
​
Upon returning to the Air Force Academy Fire Department, Tyler pursued Fire Officer I and II certifications and developed a passion for training and mentoring younger firefighters. During this time, he also became a Classique Student, further enhancing his leadership and instructional skills. In his final year on active duty, he was promoted to Crew Chief, leading emergency responses to medical incidents, fires, and MVAs.
​
Following his military service, Tyler obtained his EMT certification and earned an associate degree in Emergency Management from Cape Fear Community College in Wilmington, NC, where he also served as President of the Student Veterans Organization, assisting fellow veterans with their transition to civilian life. He is currently pursuing a degree in Public Health with a minor in Environmental Studies at the University of North Carolina Wilmington.

Tyler’s ultimate goal is to become an emergency management specialist, working to assist communities in need before, during, and after disasters. His diverse experience in firefighting, emergency response, and disaster recovery positions him as a valuable asset in the field of emergency management.
Day Allen
Public Safety Instructor
Day Allen is a remarkable individual whose journey reflects an unwavering commitment to service, empowerment, and creativity. With a distinguished background as a former firefighter and student of Classique, LLC Day achieved the remarkable feat of securing the top spot among 300 firefighter applicants—an achievement that speaks volumes about her dedication and capability.

Driven by a profound passion for teaching, Day channels her wealth of experience and insights to empower others, firmly believing in the potential for everyone to learn and grow.
​
For over a decade, Day has played a pivotal role as an assistant track coach for the Blazers Track Club, a non-profit organization dedicated to nurturing youth athleticism and fostering a supportive community. Through this role, she has not only helped countless young athletes achieve their athletic aspirations but also facilitated opportunities for them to secure scholarships for higher education.
​
In addition to her contributions to athletics, Day is the visionary founder of a lingerie line that transcends the ordinary by promoting self-love and self-care for women of all body types. Through initiatives like the breast cancer awareness line, she extends her support to survivors, aiding them in reclaiming their sense of worth beyond their physical battles.
​
Further demonstrating her commitment to uplifting others, Day is the driving force behind Dream Big for Kids, a non-profit organization dedicated to nurturing the artistic aspirations of children. By providing platforms for young artists to showcase their work and opportunities to bring their designs to life, Day strives to empower inner-city youth to excel in the arts and beyond. Her dedication to reminding children of their potential and worth underscores her belief in creating a world where all individuals can thrive and succeed.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Day is a devoted mother and caregiver, homeschooling all her children with unwavering dedication and love. Her multifaceted contributions to her community and her family serve as a testament to her resolute spirit and her unwavering commitment to making a positive impact wherever she goes.
